No one is afraid of heights, they are afraid of the fall, No one is afraid to play, they are afraid to lose, no one is afraid of the dark, they are afraid of what's in it, no one is afraid to say "I love you", they are afraid of the response.

“I think we’re a kind of desperation. We’re sort of a maddening luxury. The basic and essential human is the woman, and all that we’re doing is trying to brighten up the place. That’s why all the birds who belong to our sex have prettier feathers / because males have got to try and justify their existence.” —

Orson Welles (via fatalistichues) (via quote-book)

Then why does it always appear to be the other way around with humans?

swoon

I looked it up because I was thinking of The Truth About Forever, and this is the definition I got:
faint from extreme emotion; be emotionally affected by someone or something that one admires; become ecstatic

Followed by the example: teenagers swoon over Japanese pop singers.

LOL!!

“Music is a total constant. That’s why we have such a strong visceral connection to it, you know? Because a song can take you back instantly to a moment, or a place, or even a person. No matter what else has changed in your or the world, that one song says the same, just like that moment.” —

Sarah Dessen (Just Listen) (via kari-shma) (via quote-book)

Not my favorite of hers, but it was the one book I could actually relate to..

A sucky Black Friday as far as shopping goes.

Even though my mom said she didn’t want to go shopping today, I think she did because she’s planning to water the orchids tomorrow instead of today. Went to Great Mall. I sat (and slept) in Group USA forever just waiting for her to try on dresses and stuff. She didn’t get one in the end because the one she  wanted was little bit torn in the back or something. Then we went to Nike because Kevin wanted Nike shoes. Not that he needs new shoes. There’s something about him liking name brands (well, only Nike, really) that pisses me off. So from then on, I was in a bad mood.
Then Shannon and her friends come along and ask for a ride even though she knows the car only fits 5 people. -__-
Didn’t go far in Old Navy because we saw the long lines. Couldn’t even get into Gap because they were at max occupancy. -_-

Okay, I need to do homework.

Oh hello, Black Friday.

sparklingmilano:

It’s 9:47 and there is like NO parking at Valley Fair. I just saw someone come out with an American Apparel bag ! WHERE IS THIS AMERICAN APPAREL? Did it just open?

Yeah, apparently there is an American Apparel. xD
It’s on the first floor between Nordstrom and Macy’s Men & Home.

Here's a joke for you: A squirrel walks up to a tree and says "I forgot to store acorns for winter and now I am dead." It is funny because the squirrel gets dead.

Dug is so awesome. x]
