6. He hates when you don’t hold his siblings accountable. “I hate that my parents don’t care how my youngest brother acts,” says Henry, 13. “When he swears or picks a fight with me or my older brother, they say, ‘He’s 7. He doesn’t know any better.’ But when I was his age I would have been in big trouble for swearing.” While it’s natural to become more lax as you have more children, it’s important to consider each unique situation, not just your children’s ages. Remember, all of your kids will respect you more if they think you’re a fair and reasonable parent.
Sat in the cold for nearly 3 hours waiting for tutoring. I was cold even in the library. I’m stressing out about this research paper, sitting at my desk, wrapped in two blankets (I’m still cold). I am bound to get sick. @.@
Ninomiya Kazunari from Arashi and actor Matsuyama Kenichi made an appearance at the premiere screening for the upcoming movie “GANTZ” at the Tokyo JCB Hall earlier today. The movie is scheduled to open in Japanese theaters on January 29, 2011.
During the press conference, there was a special announcement that the movie “GANTZ” will also be released in the United States on January 20, 2011. Altogether, the movie will open in 300 theaters across America. They also announced that “GANTZ” will be released in the United States one week earlier than Japan.
After the announcement was made, Ninomiya commented, “There are so many people in the world who love GANTZ, and GANTZ fans will be happy… its a great thing.” Matsuyama commented, “I wonder why the movie will be released in America first. I don’t understand why Japan is later, but this will be a great opportunity.”
The second part of “GANTZ” will be released on April 23rd, 2011. Gantz is based on Oku Hiroya’s manga of the same title, which follows the lives of two male students who were involved in a train accident but were brought back to life by GANTZ.
It seems I’ve been encountering French everywhere these days.
The Awakening, The Stranger (well, I keep thinking it’s set in France since it’s by Camus), there’s at least one word for every (Level H) vocabulary list that’s French, Ajay and them kept saying “il fait froid” at JLPT nights, and today my parents were listening to a CD that was in French & Vietnamese! o-o

“Those who dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds wake in the day to find that all was vanity; but the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act their dream with open eyes, and make it possible.”—T.E. Lawrence
Woke up 3:30 this morning and ate breakfast waiting for my dad to get up. We left without Kevin. Stood in line at Best Buy for half an hour, and then another 15-20 minutes for the line to move all the way forward. My dad didn’t find the camera he wanted, and I don’t have the guts to say I want a laptop, so we browsed around for a while before leaving. Went to Target afterwards and just browsed again..
Got home and slept for another 5 hours.
Didn’t buy a thing. I haven’t done any homework. I don’t have a personal statement. I need some motivation. :<
Went shopping with Rhea because she has to get gifts for her Karma Buddy. It was pretty interesting. There’s a vendor at Eastridge that sells knit (animal) Peruvian hats and bags. I like the bags! :o We spent some time in Bath & Body Works… They don’t have the “classic” fragrances I remember from a long time ago. What happened to juniper and apple and all that good stuff? Anyway, I was saying my hands get really dry in the winter and my skin cracks and bleeds, but I hate the feel of lotion/Vaseline.
Watched HP6 at Rhea’s house, though I fell asleep at the beginning.
I was supposed to try to rewrite my personal statement today. I still really don’t know what to write. ><
Got rained on at the beautification event. But it’s my first CSF event! And second Key Club one. :] Came home to eat a not-so-healthy lunch.. Ended up watching the end of Swing Vote with Shannon. Couldn’t renew the books I borrowed on my famous artist, so now I’m going to have to find someone to print out color pictures for me. :\
